Location: Grass lot just north of the H-58/M-28 roundabout (thanks to Mativ for the space)
Registration: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Judging: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Awards: 3:00 p.m.
Munising Bay Cruisers Car Show
The Saturday Car Show is the heart of our weekend. Rows of chrome, vintage paint, and decades of automotive history all gathered in one field—along with the folks who love them. Whether you're a die-hard car collector or just here to take it all in, there's something special about spending the day surrounded by classics, stories, and good people.
This is our 13th year, and we’re proud to say it’s grown into a full-on community tradition. The show brings in participants from all over the Midwest and even beyond. Some have been coming since the beginning. Some are here for the first time. All are welcome.
Here’s how it works:
- It’s a participant-judged show. Every car owner gets to vote, and the top 21 vote-getters take home awards.
- We also give out special honors: Mayor’s Choice, Veterans Choice, Best Paint, and Long Distance.
- The first 120 vehicles to register get a dash plaque.
What else is happening:
- Music throughout the day
- Local food vendors on site
- Door prizes handed out during the show
- Family-friendly activities (including a Flintstones-style kids car that’s always a hit)
Like everything we do, this show is rooted in purpose. Proceeds go to support veterans through the All Veterans Memorial, Wounded Warrior Project, and U.P. Honor Flight. That means every entry, every sponsor, and every hot dog bought goes toward something bigger.
If you’ve got a car you’re proud of, bring it. If you just want to spend a Saturday surrounded by stories on wheels, come on down. You don’t have to be a car expert—you just have to love the feeling of a community coming together to remember, celebrate, and cruise.
