Judging: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Awards Ceremony: 3:00 p.m. at the Music Tent

Our judging process is built on community, participation, and pride—not perfection. This isn’t a stuffy competition with white gloves and microscopes. It’s about recognizing craftsmanship, creativity, and the connection folks have to their vehicles.

This is a participant-judged show, meaning the car owners themselves cast votes for their favorite rides. Every registered vehicle owner gets a ballot at check-in and votes for their Top 21 picks by walking the field and talking to each other. It’s a great way to meet fellow drivers and hear the stories behind the builds.

Once ballots are counted, we’ll announce the Top 21 Award Winners along with several special honors:

• Mayor’s Choice
• Veterans Choice (selected by local veterans helping at the event)
• Best Paint
• Longest Distance Traveled

While most awards come from peer voting, we do have a few special honors that are handpicked. Here’s who will be judging those categories this year:

• Mayor’s Choice: Selected by the Mayor of Munising
• Veterans Choice: Chosen by members of our local veteran community.
• Best Paint: Selected by our registered car show participants.
• Longest Distance: Based on address provided at registration. 

• Voting ends at 2:00 p.m. sharp
• You must be present to win—vehicles that leave early will not be eligible for awards
• Dash plaques are given to the first 120 registered vehicles
• Awards will be handed out at 3:00 p.m. at the music tent 
• All award winners are requested to remain on site for photos of them and their cars.

Whether you’re taking home a trophy or not, just know this: your presence, your car, and your story are what make this event worth coming to. Thanks for being part of it.
